About the role, Your Impact:

Concentric Integration provides full-service automation of water/wastewater systems (including design, implementation, and support). We strive to advocate for our clients and form long-lasting partnerships based on trust and communication. Concentric provides tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each client. The IT Intern is primarily responsible for supporting water/wastewater technology design, including workstations, firewalls, servers, and switches. These systems typically require updates, documentation, backups, endpoint protection, and regular review. Aside from the above, the IT group is responsible for day-to-day internal and external support. Internal support involves working with other departments to make recommendations, complete project work based on deadlines, and keep staff current on project status. External support consists of working with clients to assist in troubleshooting IT problems that arise and assigning work to other technicians.

What your day-to-day will look like and what you will learn on the job:

  • Assists staff with providing design, solutions, and/or product specifications per end-user requirements.

  • Assists with proactive maintenance of clients’ systems including Windows Servers, Microsoft Windows clients

  • Assists with updating customer records and network documentation in the system.

  • Assists with onsite work for municipal clients, including hardware installation and process start-up/testing.

  • Assist with maintaining and reviewing open service tickets.

  • Occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Education Requirement:

  • Pursuing the completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Information Technology Field.

  • Advanced Computer Skills, Literacy, & Proficiency.

  • Must possess effective oral, written, & digital communication skills.

  • Must be able to easily interact with other design staff.

  • Must possess effective organizational skills for productive tasks and time management.

  • Must be able to identify and solve problems promptly.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $21.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
